Siiz (born 1995, Seoul, South Korea) lives and works in Seoul, SK

Siiz (b. 1995, Seoul) is a South Korean artist whose practice transforms familiar, everyday moments into poetic and subtly uncanny visual narratives. Working primarily with paper, she cuts, folds, and reshapes the medium into delicate forms—including birds, flowers, and houses—that serve as metaphors for both fragility and possibility. Through these imaginative constructions, Siiz reflects on resilience, memory, and the ways individuals navigate the complexities of contemporary life.Rooted in the spirit of childhood play and quiet fantasy, her work invites viewers to rediscover a sense of wonder within ordinary experiences. By reconfiguring commonplace materials and scenes, she reveals the magical and transformative potential embedded in everyday life. Siiz received a BFA in Painting from Dongguk University in 2019 and has been a resident artist at PG Residency, Seoul, since 2023. Her solo exhibitions include Travelogue (PG Gallery, Seoul, 2025), Magicians Do Not Exist (PG Gallery, Seoul, 2024), and Run Riot (Gallery Café Our Wave, Seoul, 2022). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including To Paint, To Write, To Gaze (PG Gallery, Seoul, 2026), The Color of a Dream, Languid Urban Daydream (PG Gallery and SJ Kunsthalle, Seoul, 2024), and Virtual Botanic Garden (Gallery Rooftop Factory, Seoul, 2022).In 2025, Siiz was featured in an artist interview by Nant Magazine. She currently lives and works in Seoul.
